Forensic watermarking demo
This demo shows the invisibility of DoveRunner forensic watermarking and the detection of watermark data. Play the watermarked video, record it, and request detection from your recording.
How to test playback and watermark detection
- Enter any watermark string you want (optional).
- Press "Play watermarked" and record the video with a screen recording application or a video camera.
- Request watermark detection in DoveRunner Console (login required) with a downloadable link of the recording.
- Check that the detected result matches the session data shown below.
Notes for the detection test
- You can test playback several times with different watermark strings, then record one of them.
- Your watermark string is added to other session data: browser, IP address and timestamp.
- A recording must be at least 5 minutes long for detection.
- When recording with a camera, use a tripod for a stable recording.
- Trial accounts get up to two detection tests.
