Configure settings

Set up threat alerts, webhooks, services, and console preferences for day-to-day operation.

Lesson 35 min

Settings overview

The console Settings menu has four tabs: General Settings, Manage Webhook, Manage Services, and Manage Threat Alert.

General settings

  • Preferred Language and Preferred Timezone: the timezone applies to timestamps across the console, including sealing history and dashboard charts.
  • Product Notifications: send announcements, invoices, and Android/iOS version update notices to a Slack channel through a Slack webhook URL.

Threat alerts

Manage Threat Alert notifies you when attack volume rises. It compares yesterday's total attack volume with the average of the past 2 days, 2 weeks, or 1 month, and can also watch spikes by OS version or threat type. A short baseline reacts quickly but is noisier, while a longer one is steadier but slower to flag a gradual rise.

Alerts go to an email address or to a webhook. Register the webhook under Manage Webhook first, so you can select it here.

See General settings and Manage threat alerts for details.
